'Turning 80: Four Decades of Painting the Landscape', May 2026
This exhibition, taking place in my 80th year, comprises paintings from the 1990s through the 2020s; four decades from when I first began painting landscapes in this format. It will be held at Bayley Arts in Highett, at the end of next month.

'Water for Life', April 2026
I'm thrilled to have been selected for 'Water for Life' exhibition, to be held this year in Assisi, Italy, coinciding with the 800th anniversary commemorating the death of St Francis. The exhibition highlights the world-wide need for fresh water and this year is focused on the severe drought which has greatly reduced the capacity of the Trasimeno Lake. I have participated in this exhibition previously, the most memorable occasion being at Niagara Falls in 2018. My submission, below, is titled, 'Outback Rainstorm, Central Australia'.

I'm looking forward to participating in this panel discussion at the Bayside Gallery, Brighton, on 28th February, between 2-3pm. This is an incentive of 'Bayside Creatives' month which runs through the month of February, and gives local artists varied opportunities to exhibit, demonstrate or talk about their work.

George Bass Art Prize, November 2025
This event was an inaugural one for artists having an association with Phillip Island, Victoria, which celebrated the discovery of the island by George Bass in 1797, following his 600 mile voyage from Sydney Cove. I was very honoured to be awarded the prize as winner of this exhibition, judged by Dr Sheridan Palmer. My thanks to Peter Walker, owner and director of Leeson Street Gallery, and to the sponsor who so generously put up the prize money.

I'm very privileged to have my work hanging in the dining room at this award-winning and extremely successful venue in Sydney. My grateful thanks to Rebecca Duncan and James Ingram for inviting me to become involved in this project.
Florence Biennale Paintings, October 2025
I was thrilled to be participating again in the XV Florence Biennale, held at the Fortezza da Basso, Florence, from 18-26 October 2025. The theme, 'Light and Darkness', is reflected in my paintings, 'Night Storm' and 'Morning Storm'. In previous years, this has been a wonderful opportunity to meet many international artists and visitors. This year was no exception; the exhibition was the most successful ever, and It was a very memorable event as can be seen in the photos in Exhibitions 2025.
